Trade Support Associate Job Description

Our client, a leading financial institution in Canada, is seeking a skilled Trade Support Associate to join their team for an initial 6-month contract. In this role, you will provide daily trade support to the Equities desk, ensuring the reconciliation of booked trades, allocation of trades, and execution of contracts. You will also provide real-time support to traders regarding the equity book.

This is a hybrid role, requiring in-office presence 2 days a week. To be considered for this position, our client is looking for an individual with 2-7 years of experience in a related capital markets operations position, including product control, settlements, collateral, trade support, or P&L. Strong knowledge of capital markets products, including swaps, is also required. Additionally, you should possess strong Excel skills, including VLOOKUPS and Pivot Tables, as well as excellent communication and presentation skills.

As a Trade Support Associate, you will work closely with the front office desk, providing support and ensuring the smooth execution of trades. If you are a motivated and detail-oriented individual with a passion for financial markets, this could be the ideal opportunity for you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide daily trade support to the Equities desk

Requirements:
