About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Category Analyst to join our Strategic Sales & Analytics team at SharkNinja. As a Category Analyst, you will play a critical role in providing strategic support to our category managers, driving actionable reporting, and developing comprehensive strategies to achieve business objectives.

Key Responsibilities
  • Drive data-driven insights to inform business decisions and develop winning strategies at each subcategory.
  • Serve as the category expert, generating and presenting actionable insights on pricing, promotional impacts, product positioning, competitive landscape, and market needs.
  • Manage and own communication of daily, weekly, and monthly deliverables, reporting on the overall health of the business.
  • Identify category gaps and opportunities, craft compelling sales stories with strategic recommendations, and help increase distribution, space, and displays.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • 2+ years of relevant work experience within category management or sales analysis.
  • Experience working for a consumer goods company preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to multi-task and detail-oriented, ensuring deadlines are met.
  • Ability to handle multiple projects in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Experience pulling and analyzing syndicated data (IRI, Nielsen, NPD, GFK, etc.).
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel/Office skills.
