Job Title: Logistics Supervisor

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Logistics Supervisor to join our team at KUTHALA GROUP INC. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for coordinating and supervising the activities of our logistics department.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure smooth operations
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on a regular basis
  • Arrange for maintenance and repair work to be performed on equipment and vehicles
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
  • Recruit and hire staff to join our logistics team
  • Train workers in duties and policies to ensure compliance with company procedures
  • Co-ordinate, assign, and review work to ensure deadlines are met
  • Establish work schedules and procedures to optimize efficiency
  • Plan, organize, and oversee operational logistics of the organization
Requirements:
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a logistics or transportation role
  • Permanent employment with a minimum of 40 hours per week
  • Fluency in English as the primary language of communication
Work Environment:

Our logistics team operates in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and a focus on attention to detail. You will be working with a team of 5-10 people, including shippers and receivers, to ensure the smooth movement of goods.

Computer and Technology Knowledge:
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, MS PowerPoint, and MS Word
  • Familiarity with MS Windows operating system
Security and Safety:
  • Criminal record check and credit check required
Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Ability to lift up to 9 kg (20 lbs) as required
