Compensation for this position is based on a fee-for-service income model, which includes a blended rate of $300-$600 per hour. This hourly rate may be adjusted based on the successful candidate's level of experience and qualifications.

Job Description

This renal specialist will primarily work at the Health Sciences Center and will be responsible for diagnosing and treating diseases, prescribing medications, and ordering lab tests and x-rays. The successful candidate will also participate in direct contact teaching of undergraduate medical students, post-graduate teaching of residents, and academic functions within the Section of Nephrology.

The ideal candidate will have strong communication and teamwork skills, as well as a passion for promoting kidney health and education. A nil academic daily stipend will be provided to the successful candidate.

Key Responsibilities
  • Diagnose and treat diseases related to kidney health
  • Promote kidney health through education and research
  • Participate in direct contact teaching of undergraduate medical students
  • Contribute to post-graduate teaching of residents
  • Attend academic functions within the Section of Nephrology
