Job Title:

Administrative Assistant

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Administrative Assistant to provide administrative and clerical support to the Director, Continuing Care and the Resident Care Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing timely and accurate administrative assistance, managing a large volume of work, and maintaining confidentiality.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide administrative and clerical support to the Director, Continuing Care and the Resident Care Department
  • Manage a large volume of work, including data entry, filing, and record-keeping
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion
  • Develop and maintain databases, spreadsheets, and other computer applications
  • Provide excellent public relations skills and communicate effectively with staff, patients, and families
Requirements:
  • 2 years of relevant experience in an administrative role
  • Grade 12 plus graduation from an approved Office Education training program
  • Basic Medical Terminology
  • Excellent public relations skills
  • Ability to effectively manage a large volume of work
  • Highly proficient in database management, spreadsheets, and basic computing
Working Conditions:

This is a full-time temporary position with a regular 37.5 hour workweek. The successful candidate will be required to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a high level of productivity.
