First Nations University of Canada is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant to join our Student Success Services team. As a key member of our team, you will provide administrative support to our Director and staff, ensuring the smooth operation of our department.

Responsibilities:
  • Provide primary receptionist duties, including answering phone calls, responding to emails, and greeting visitors.
  • Assist students and guests with inquiries and direct them to the appropriate staff or department.
  • Maintain and update Academic Advisor calendars with student appointments and meetings.
  • Prepare, record, and distribute meeting minutes, correspondence, and other documents.
  • Set up files for sponsored events, tours, and calendars.
  • Assist with updating the university website as needed.
  • Create and complete purchase orders.
  • Maintain professionalism and perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications:

High School Grade 12 Diploma; Minimum one-year Office Education certification or equivalent education, and two years related office experience required. A combination of education and experience will be considered.
