Job Title: Food Service Supervisor

Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled Food Service Supervisor to join our team at TIM HORTONS. As a Food Service Supervisor, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service establishment, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and high-quality food.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Establish and implement efficient work schedules to meet the demands of our fast-paced environment.
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of our food service staff, providing guidance and training as needed.
  • Ensure that our food and service meet the highest quality control standards, addressing any customer complaints or concerns in a timely and professional manner.
  • Maintain accurate records of stock, repairs, sales, and wastage, preparing and submitting reports as required.
  • Collaborate with our team to achieve our goals and objectives, promoting a positive and inclusive work environment.

Requirements:

  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • 1 to less than 7 months of experience in a food service establishment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Knowledge of the establishment's culinary genres and ability to maintain high-quality food standards.
  • Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines, with a strong focus on customer satisfaction.

Work Environment:

  • Fast-paced environment with a focus on customer satisfaction.
  • On-site customer service with a focus on providing exceptional service.

Supervision:

  • 3-4 people in the food service team.
  • Food and beverage servers, food service counter attendants, and food preparers.

Work Conditions and Physical Capabilities:

  • Standing for extended periods and walking.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines.

Personal Suitability:

  • Client focus and excellent oral communication skills.
  • Efficient interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing circumstances.

Language: English

Hours: 35 hours per week
