Restaurant Operations Manager

The Colander is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Restaurant Assistant Manager to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant, providing exceptional customer service, and leading a team of staff to achieve our goals.
Key Responsibilities- Evaluate and optimize daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and productivity.
- Plan and organize daily menus, inventory, and supplies to meet customer demands.
- Supervise and train staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to provide excellent customer service.
- Negotiate with suppliers to secure the best prices for food and other supplies.
- Develop and implement operational procedures to ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Manage inventory and maintain a clean and safe working environment.
- Provide exceptional customer service and resolve any customer complaints or concerns.
- College/CEGEP education.
- 1-2 years of experience in a restaurant management role.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and make decisions quickly.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask.
- Fast-paced environment with a high level of customer interaction.
- Ability to work in a standing position for long periods and lift up to 25 pounds.
- Availability to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends.
