Job Description

The Colander is seeking a highly motivated and organized Assistant Restaurant Manager to join our team. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our restaurant.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate daily restaurant operations to ensure efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Plan and organize daily restaurant operations, including menu planning and inventory management.
  • Supervise and train restaurant staff to ensure excellent customer service and high-quality food preparation.
  • Determine the type of services to be offered and implement operational procedures to meet customer needs.
  • Organize and maintain inventory, including food, supplies, and equipment.
  • Ensure health and safety regulations are followed, including food safety and sanitation procedures.
  • Negotiate arrangements with suppliers for food and other supplies.
  • Negotiate with clients for catering or use of facilities.
  • Address customers' complaints or concerns in a professional and courteous manner.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.

  • Work in a fast-paced environment with attention to detail.
  • Work Term: Permanent.
  • Work Language: English.
  • Hours: 30 hours per week.
