**Responsibilities**

  • Manage patient schedules and coordinate appointments with nursing staff and physicians
  • Provide administrative support, including data entry, word processing, and other clerical duties
  • Serve as a receptionist, answering patient inquiries and providing general information about the department and services offered

**Skills & Abilities**

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
  • Proficiency in medical terminology and electronic health record systems

**Qualifications**

  • Grade 12 diploma or equivalent
  • Medical Terminology Certificate required
  • Post-secondary education in Medical Office Administration or a related field an asset
