About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at Anejo Restaurant. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for leading the preparation and cooking of complete meals and specialty foods for events and regular service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead the kitchen team in the preparation and cooking of food, ensuring high-quality dishes are delivered to our guests.
  • Supervise and train cooks in preparation, cooking, and presentation of food, as well as requisitioning food and kitchen supplies.
  • Prepare and cook meals or specialty foods for special guests or functions, and ensure that dishes are prepared to meet the needs of customers with food allergies or intolerances.
  • Work under pressure in a fast-paced environment, managing tight deadlines and maintaining a high level of attention to detail.
  • Develop and maintain a positive and efficient work environment, promoting teamwork and excellent interpersonal skills.
Requirements
  • 2 years to less than 3 years of experience in a similar role.
  • Permanent employment with 35 to 40 hours per week.
  • Fluency in English.
