Customer Service Representative

We are seeking an ambitious and customer-focused Inside Sales Rep to join our team at United Rentals.
As an Inside Sales Rep, you will serve as a key customer contact and consultant at our branch, with responsibility for recommending solutions to the customer, quoting, selling and fulfilling orders for our equipment and services based on their needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Process Rental Quotations: Create and manage rental quotations, reservations, and contracts to meet customer needs.
- Establish New Accounts: Develop and maintain relationships with customers to establish new rental and sales accounts.
- Negotiate Prices: Negotiate prices on equipment rentals and contractor supplies in accordance with pricing policies and procedures.
- Dispatch Delivery Trucks: Manage the dispatch of delivery trucks and communicate with customers regarding delivery expectations.
- Generate Leads: Identify and generate leads for new business opportunities and communicate with Outside Sales Representatives to pursue these leads.
- Maintain a Clean Showroom: Ensure the showroom is clean, organized, and presentable, with adequate merchandise on display.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree or equivalent experience is preferred.
- Relationship-Building Skills: Exceptional relationship-building and customer service skills are essential.
- Multitasking: Strong ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
- Teamwork and Communication: Excellent teamwork, interpersonal, and communication skills.
- Attention to Detail: Keen attention to detail.
- Valid Driver's License: A valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record is required.
