Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team at Offworld Industries. As a key member of our technical staff, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure and ensuring the smooth operation of our systems.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design and implement scalable and secure cloud infrastructure using AWS and other cloud platforms.
  • Develop and maintain automated testing and deployment pipelines using Jenkins, TeamCity, and GitLab.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize technical requirements and implement solutions.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot system performance and security issues, and perform root cause analysis.
  • Provide guidance and training to team members on DevOps principles and best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies, and recommend new tools and processes to improve our infrastructure and operations.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer or Cloud Engineer.
  • Experience with agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
  • Strong technical foundation in cloud computing, automation, and scripting languages.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Experience working in a game development studio or similar industry.
  • Familiarity with productivity and project management tools, such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Experience with disaster recovery and high availability strategies in AWS.
  • Strong understanding of database technologies, including SQL, NoSQL, and NewSQL.
