Job Title: DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team at Offworld, a leading game development studio. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our games and infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement automation tools to improve release management, observability, security, scalability, and availability.
  • Create quality-of-life improvement tools and automate high-value manual processes.
  • Expand and maintain cloud-first monitoring, logging, and alerting tools and processes.
  • Automate data visualization for monitoring, alerting, and investigation purposes.
  • Monitor and resolve infrastructure performance and security issues.
  • Practice and provide guidance on DevOps principles and best practices.
  • Collaborate with team members to define and document project requirements, implementation, and procedures.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related IT discipline.
  • ~5+ years of production-level experience as a DevOps Engineer or Cloud Engineer.
  • ~5+ years of experience in system architecture, scalability, reliability, and performance in a SaaS environment.
  • ~5+ years of experience using automation frameworks and supporting tools.
  • ~5+ years of experience in coding or scripting languages.
  • Experience with agile methodologies.
  • Experience in monitoring and logging systems in AWS.
  • Strong technical foundation in deploying and administering Operating Systems.
  • Good understanding and working knowledge of database technologies.
