Job Title: Agile DevOps Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Agile DevOps Engineer to join our team at Offworld. As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining our cloud infrastructure, ensuring high availability, scalability, and security.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement automated testing and CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins, TeamCity, and GitLab.
  • Develop and maintain cloud-first monitoring, logging, and alerting tools and processes.
  • Automate data visualization for monitoring, alerting, and investigation purposes.
  • Monitor and resolve infrastructure performance and security issues.
  • Collaborate with team members to define and document project requirements, implementation, and procedures.
  • Enhance the company's IT infrastructure security protocols and ensure systems are safe and secure against cybersecurity threats.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related IT discipline.
  • 5+ years of production-level experience as a DevOps Engineer or Cloud Engineer.
  • Experience with agile methodologies (SCRUM or Kanban).
  • Strong technical foundation in deploying and administering Linux and Windows operating systems.
  • Good understanding and working knowledge of database technologies (SQL, NoSQL, and NewSQL).
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in a technical role for a game studio.
  • Familiarity with productivity and project management tools like Jira, Confluence.
  • Experience in mentoring and executing Agile, Lean, and Continuous Delivery best practices.
  • Experience in deploying Disaster Recovery (DR) and High Availability (HA) strategy in AWS and deployment across regions.

This is a full-time permanent position with the requirement to work from our office 5 days a week.

The typical salary range for this position is $110,000 - $135,000 CAD per year and is subject to change.
