Job Title: Agile DevOps Engineer

Offworld Industries is seeking a highly skilled Agile DevOps Engineer to join our team. As a DevOps Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth operation of our software development lifecycle, from design to deployment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, implement, and maintain automation frameworks to improve efficiency and reduce manual errors.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and prioritize automation opportunities.
  • Develop and maintain monitoring and logging systems to ensure real-time visibility into application performance.
  • Implement and manage release management processes to ensure timely and reliable deployments.
  • Work closely with the development team to identify and resolve infrastructure performance and security issues.
  • Provide guidance and support to team members on DevOps best practices and tools.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • 5+ years of experience in DevOps engineering, cloud engineering, or related field.
  • Strong technical foundation in cloud computing, automation, and DevOps tools and technologies.
  • Experience with agile methodologies, such as Scrum or Kanban.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in a game development studio.
  • Familiarity with productivity and project management tools, such as Jira and Confluence.
  • Experience with cloud-based monitoring and logging tools, such as AWS CloudWatch and ELK Stack.
  • Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools, such as Docker and Kubernetes.

This is a full-time permanent position with the requirement to work from our office at least 3 days a week.

The typical salary range for this position is $110,000 - $135,000 CAD per year and is subject to change.
