Key Responsibilities

  • Perform penetration tests with 3+ years of experience.
  • Achieve multiple industry certifications, including at least one advanced level certification (OSCP, GCPN, OSWE, GWAN, OSWP, or equivalent).
  • Scope penetration testing engagements to assess plausible attack vectors, estimate level of effort, and determine the best approach to test areas of risk.
  • Develop executive-level reports, write penetration testing reports, and executive summaries with minimal error or edits.
  • Execute testing engagements against complex projects and systems.
  • Develop custom tooling and leverage whitepapers and online resources to enhance testing.
  • Possess in-depth knowledge of testing methodologies, including OWASP Web & Mobile testing methodologies and OSSTMM, and the MITRE ATT&CK Framework.
  • Communicate effectively in English, with strong verbal, written, and presentation skills. Spanish is an asset due to Scotiabank's presence in Latin America.
