About the Role
At Arup, we are seeking a highly skilled Cybersecurity Consultant to join our Canada Digital Advisory team. This individual will play a key role in expanding our local digital service offering in the area of cybersecurity and supporting local client relationship development.
Responsibilities
- Liaise with clients, partners, and stakeholders to manage meetings and develop presentations on cybersecurity.
- Develop and advise clients on industry best practices in cybersecurity to assess, manage, and mitigate risk.
- Support clients in lead author role to develop, review, and govern the implementation of cybersecurity requirements on major infrastructure projects.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of cybersecurity standards, legislation, and the changing landscape.
- Support mentorship, cross-training, and development of colleagues in digital teams on topics and key considerations of cybersecurity.
- Active participation in informing geography and regional leadership on cybersecurity resourcing requirements and hiring needs.
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or minimum 15 years of industry experience in progressively senior roles.
- Security certification such as CISSP, CISM, or equivalent.
- Demonstrated previous experience in Rail & Transit Infrastructure projects.
- Familiarity with rail-related controls and systems.
- Experience in cybersecurity risk assessment in a rail environment.
- Experience in compliance with regional rail cyber legislation.
