About the Role

Arup, a renowned leader in shaping a better world, invites applications for an experienced Cybersecurity Consultant to join our Canada Digital Advisory team. This is an exceptional opportunity to contribute to the digital service offering in cybersecurity and support local client relationship development.

As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for communicating with clients, managing meetings, and developing presentations on industry best practices in cybersecurity. You will also advise clients on risk assessment, remediation, and mitigation strategies, as well as support the implementation of cybersecurity requirements on major infrastructure projects.

Responsibilities
  • Develop and present technical content to stakeholders, showcasing expertise in cybersecurity and adapting to various audiences;
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of cybersecurity standards, legislation, and emerging threats;
  • Support the mentorship and development of colleagues in digital teams, focusing on cybersecurity topics;
  • Represent Arup within the North geography, promoting our digital expertise and thought leadership in security;
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field; or equivalent experience in progressively senior roles, including leadership positions;
  • Security certification, such as CISSP or CISM;
  • Demonstrated experience in Rail & Transit Infrastructure projects;
  • Familiarity with rail-related controls and systems;
  • Experience in cybersecurity risk assessment in a rail environment;
  • Compliance with regional rail cyber legislation;
