Northside Community Guest Home is seeking an experienced Physiotherapist to join our team. This role offers a unique opportunity to work in a nursing home setting, providing comprehensive physiotherapy services to patients.
Job SummaryWe are looking for a highly skilled and motivated Physiotherapist to provide evidence-based practice and contribute to the delivery of high-quality patient care. The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, be able to work independently, and demonstrate a commitment to professional development.
Key Responsibilities- Administer evaluative tests to assess patients' physical abilities
- Develop and implement individualized physiotherapy programs to promote optimal function and mobility
- Supervise technical and support staff to ensure effective teamwork and efficient service delivery
- Maintain accurate clinical and progress reports to inform patient care and treatment plans
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to achieve seamless patient care
- Bachelor's degree in Physiotherapy or equivalent
- Registration as a Physiotherapist with provincial or territorial authorities
- Experience working in a nursing home or similar setting (an asset)
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment with strong attention to detail
- Competitive salary: $85,000 - $105,000 per year
