The RoleAs Chief of Staff, you will be responsible for driving strategic and operational leadership in clinical service delivery, aligning with the hospital's mission to advance health and wellness across the community. Your mandate will be to spearhead clinical excellence, elevate patient care standards, and initiate cutting-edge projects that enhance operational efficacy.
Key Responsibilities- Lead the Senior Leadership Team in developing and implementing clinical service delivery strategies
- Collaborate with physicians and staff to enhance patient care standards and operational efficiency
- Initiate and champion innovative projects to transform the patient experience
- Ensure compliance with the Public Hospitals Act, by-laws, and policies established by the Board of Directors
- Support and empower a physician engagement and participation strategy that reinforces diversity, inclusivity, accountability, and patient-centeredness
The successful candidate will be an accomplished physician leader with experience in formal leadership roles and an established track record of accomplishments in leadership. You will be a values-based, inclusive, and visionary leader with a strong commitment to excellence and quality improvement.
A minimum of 2.5 days per week of dedicated leadership time to the role of Chief of Staff, balanced with regular frontline clinical practice at BGH, is required.
