Maintenance Coordinator, Evening Shift

The Maintenance Coordinator plays a vital role in ensuring the fleet maintenance requirements are accurately identified, recorded, and prioritized within the maintenance system. This position requires a team player who can effectively communicate with Technicians, Drivers, outside vendors, and customers.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Work order entry and management
  • Creating and managing purchase orders
  • Utilizing reports to identify incorrect or problem data using established guidelines
  • Communicating exceptions, initiating corrective action, and reporting and evaluating the action effects
  • Collaborating with Outsourced Maintenance Coordinators to schedule equipment and ensure it reaches the required shop
  • Assigning tasks to the Mobile Technician in the Calgary yard
  • Driver and Customer Relations

Requirements:

  • Experience in a maintenance administrative/coordination role
  • Excellent organizational skills and record-keeping ability
  • Strong attention to detail abilities
  • Ability to use and learn computer software and programs
  • Problem-solving ability; recognize, assess, report, and provide solutions
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

About the Role:

This is a permanent, full-time position working Monday to Thursday from 16:00 to 02:30. The successful candidate will be located in our Bison North Maintenance Shop.
