Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Customer Service Representative to join our dynamic team on a temporary-to-permanent basis as a Logistics Coordinator for our LTL Division Evening Shift. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support, managing and coordinating LTL shipments, and ensuring smooth operations and high levels of customer satisfaction.

Salary

The estimated salary range for this position is $45,000 - $55,000 per year, based on a 40-hour workweek and starting at $22-$24 per hour.

Job Responsibilities
  • Respond promptly and professionally to customer inquiries via phone, email, and other communication channels.
  • Coordinate and manage LTL shipments, including booking, tracking, and delivery confirmation.
  • Resolve customer issues and concerns regarding shipments, providing timely and effective solutions.
  • Communicate with carriers to ensure timely pickup and delivery of goods.
  • Maintain accurate records of customer interactions and transactions, including shipment details and resolution of issues.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure a seamless flow of information and efficient handling of customer requests.
  • Monitor and manage shipment schedules, proactively addressing any potential delays or disruptions.
Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you should have:

  • A high school diploma or equivalent; a degree in logistics, supply chain management, or a related field is a plus.
  • Previous experience in customer service, preferably in the logistics or transportation industry.
  • Knowledge of LTL shipping and logistics processes is highly desirable.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build positive relationships with clients and colleagues.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
