About the Role

BDO Canada is seeking a highly skilled Senior Manager to join our International Tax team. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing tax services to our clients, including our growing public company division.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide tax services to clients, including tax planning, compliance, and controversy matters.
  • Develop and maintain a sound understanding of taxation concepts and apply knowledge to client situations.
  • Propose innovative tax solutions to clients and prepare tax reorganizations and reviews.
  • Participate in business development initiatives and identify new business opportunities with existing clients.
  • Effectively communicate with team members regarding progress updates and issues.
  • Engage in training staff and invest in the professional development of your team.

Requirements:

  • Canadian CPA designation and In-Depth Tax Course or Masters of Tax.
  • 5+ years of experience in public accounting specializing in Tax.
  • Solid knowledge and understanding of Canadian and International Tax.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
