Job Title: Senior Electrical Power Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Electrical Power Engineer to join our team at Kiewit. As a key member of our power district, you will be responsible for leading electrical engineering initiatives and providing guidance to less experienced engineers.

Responsibilities:

  • Lead electrical engineering projects and initiatives, ensuring timely completion and high-quality results.
  • Review and provide feedback on electrical engineering deliverables, ensuring compliance with industry standards and company policies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement electrical engineering solutions that meet client needs.
  • Develop and maintain technical expertise in electrical power systems, including design, installation, and operation.
  • Provide technical guidance and support to less experienced engineers, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge to perform their duties.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry developments and advancements in electrical power systems, applying this knowledge to improve our engineering processes and solutions.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering from an accredited four-year college or university program.
  • Minimum 15 years of relevant electrical engineering experience, with a strong background in power systems.
  • Proven leadership and technical expertise in electrical power systems, with a strong understanding of industry standards and company policies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with a strong attention to detail and ability to meet deadlines.
