About the Role

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Construction Health and Safety Professional to join our team in Halifax. As a key member of our organisation, you will be responsible for managing the health, safety, and environmental aspects of our workshop, offices, and occasional sites.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement effective health and safety policies and procedures to ensure compliance with relevant legislation and industry standards
  • Conduct regular site visits to monitor health and safety performance and provide guidance to employees and contractors
  • Collaborate with senior management to identify and mitigate risks, and develop strategies to improve health and safety performance
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a HSE Manager or similar role in the construction industry
  • Degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field
  • IOSH qualification and/or NEBOSH certification
Benefits
  • Competitive salary: £65,000 - £75,000 per annum
