Sales Opportunity

We're seeking a highly motivated Sales Representative to join our team. As a Personal Insurance Specialist, you will be responsible for identifying prospects' needs, influencing decisions, and selling insurance products.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Tailor interactions by utilizing emerging technology solutions, including phone, chat, email, SMS, and video conferencing.
  • Identify customer needs to build on existing products, developing contact plans, introducing new products and services, quoting, and marketing personal insurance business.
  • Sell product by establishing contact and developing relationships with prospects, answering incoming communications, following up on expiry date cards, re-quoting prospects from previous years and cancelled files, and contacting leads generated.
  • Create a trusting environment that fosters new sales opportunities and retention of existing business.
  • Actively participate within the team unit and independently to continuously contribute to overall business improvement.
  • Accurately process account changes, maintain complete customer documentation, prepare correspondence, and document files for follow-up.
  • Tackle complex insurance-related cases, creatively utilizing all available resources until full resolution is met.

Requirements

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • A RIBO license or willingness to obtain within the first 30 days of employment.
  • A minimum of two years' sales experience, preferably in personal lines, automobile, and property insurance.
  • Exceptional communication skills and the demonstrated ability to deal effectively with all levels of internal and external stakeholders.
  • Superior time management and organizational skills to handle competing priorities.
  • Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite applications.

What We Offer

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $80,000 per year, depending on experience. In addition, we provide industry-leading group benefits with 100% premium coverage (excluding LTD) that start on your first day. The estimated salary for this position is around $68,500 based on market trends and industry standards. However, this figure may vary depending on factors such as location, experience, and qualifications.
