About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Roy Mart. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring that our customers receive exceptional service and that our sales goals are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assign sales workers to duties and oversee their performance
  • Hire, train, and develop staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles
  • Manage inventory levels, including ordering merchandise and authorizing returns
  • Establish work schedules and ensure that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively
  • Prepare reports on sales volumes, merchandising, and personnel matters
  • Resolve customer complaints and supply shortages in a timely and professional manner
  • Organize and maintain inventory, including supervising and coordinating activities of workers
Requirements
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a retail environment
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
  • Reliability, dependability, and a strong work ethic
Work Environment

This is a permanent, full-time position working 40 hours per week in a rural area. The ideal candidate will be able to work independently and as part of a team, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
