Job Title: Retail Store Supervisor

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Retail Store Supervisor to join our team at Roy Mart. As a key member of our retail team, you will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our retail store, ensuring excellent customer service, and driving sales growth.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of sales floor staff, ensuring a high level of customer service and sales performance.
  • Manage inventory levels, including ordering and receiving merchandise, and maintaining accurate records.
  • Authorize returns and resolve customer complaints in a fair and timely manner.
  • Prepare sales reports and provide insights to management to inform business decisions.
  • Recruit, train, and develop sales staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their roles.
Requirements:
  • 1-2 years of retail management experience, preferably in a supervisory role.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with staff, customers, and management.
  • Strong problem-solving and conflict resolution skills, with the ability to remain calm under pressure.
  • Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively, with a focus on meeting sales targets and achieving business objectives.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required; post-secondary education in a related field an asset.

Our retail store is a fast-paced environment with a focus on providing excellent customer service and driving sales growth. As a Retail Store Supervisor, you will be expected to work a variety of shifts, including evenings and weekends, and be available to work overtime as needed.
