We are a well-established UK principal contractor specializing in Rail projects across the UK. Our company is growing rapidly due to long-term partnerships with key clients in the industry.

The Role

We are seeking a Senior Civil Engineer to join our team dedicated to Civil & Structural Design. The ideal candidate will have experience in Rail/Civil & Structural engineering design and be able to deliver top-notch design solutions following industry standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Deliver quality design documents and ensure designs meet client expectations
  • Coordinate with CAD Technicians and contribute to tenders
  • Monitor project costs and maintain quality assurance
  • Produce risk assessments and provide progress reports
  • Design civil infrastructure and introduce improvements
  • Create specifications and calculations
  • Work on a variety of Rail projects and collaborate with a team of technicians and engineers
Requirements
  • Degree in Civil or Structural Engineering
  • Ideal candidate should be Chartered or in advanced stages with the relevant professional body
  • Experience in Rail/Civil & Structural engineering design
  • Experience leading teams
  • Familiarity with Network Rail CAD standards
  • BIM environment proficiency
  • Good communication skills
  • UK citizen or with indefinite leave to remain
