Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Civil Engineer to join our team as a Project Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading civil design projects and working closely with our Business Lead and Managers to ensure successful project delivery.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Project Management: Lead civil design projects from initiation to completion, ensuring timely and within-budget delivery.
  • Civil Design: Develop technical scope of projects and coordinate all aspects of civil design, including earthworks, landfills, solid waste, and site remediation design.
  • Team Collaboration: Collaborate with the engineering team to make important decisions regarding civil design and participate in design coordination meetings.
  • Mentorship: Mentor junior staff and represent the company at client meetings.

Requirements:

  • Education: Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
  • Certification: P. Eng certification in Ontario.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of extensive technical design experience, with a focus on civil design delivery for multi-discipline projects involving earthworks, site remediation, solid waste, and renewable energy.
  • Skills: Knowledge of local codes and standards, Design-Build environment, and 3D design.
