We are a prominent company within the RSK Group, a globally recognized organization with a vast network of companies and employees worldwide.

Currently, we are seeking a skilled Civil Project Engineer with a focus on Infrastructure engineering to join our dynamic team. The selected candidate will be involved in a range of projects in the UK, Ireland, and beyond.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, design, and oversee infrastructure projects from conception to completion.
  • Prepare feasibility studies, route selections, and concept design reports to inform project decisions.
  • Develop technical specifications and contract documents to ensure project compliance.
  • Manage documentation for approvals and permits, ensuring timely submission and resolution.
  • Administer contracts during the construction phase, ensuring project deliverables meet client expectations.
  • Develop project plans with budgets and schedules, ensuring effective resource allocation.
  • Ensure project compliance with regulations, laws, and industry standards.
  • Provide guidance and mentorship to junior staff, promoting knowledge sharing and skill development.
  • Conduct site visits to monitor progress, ensure quality control, and address any project-related issues.
  • Review technical reports and specifications to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Track project costs and manage risks, ensuring timely and within-budget project delivery.
  • Promote effective communication and collaboration among project stakeholders.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in consulting or similar roles, with a strong background in civil engineering.
  • Willingness to work on various civil engineering projects in the UK and Ireland, with a focus on infrastructure development.
  • Proficiency in report writing and Microsoft Office, with excellent communication and presentation skills.
  • Strong understanding of civil engineering principles and regulations, with knowledge of infrastructure design and analysis software.
  • Familiarity with Construction Contract Forms and industry-standard project management tools.
  • Excellent project management skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, manage multiple projects, and meet deadlines.
