Director - Part Time

Are you a seasoned professional with a passion for fostering impactful relationships between education and industry? We're seeking a Director - Part Time to lead our team in creating and executing dynamic strategies that elevate our industry relationships and amplify opportunities for our students and graduates.
You'll be responsible for spearheading operations that enhance our industry partnerships and open doors for students to access top-tier employment, Co-op, and Work-Integrated Learning opportunities. Your exceptional networking capabilities and ability to build relationships will be key in creating a safe, brave, and inclusive environment for our students and partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the development and implementation of a "One Sheridan" institutional framework to employer and partnership relations
- Design modern, streamlined, and employer-relevant practices for student talent acquisition, student and employer engagement, and services for employers to partner with Sheridan for talent sourcing and recruitment
- Negotiate with industry associations or other industry umbrella groups to create contracts, partnerships, and agreements to partner with
- Serve on community committees, board of directors, or trade bodies to advance Sheridan's brand, employer awareness, and to advocate for student employment/WIL
- Seek funding opportunities, sponsorship, and industry contribution to Sheridan and participate in other projects and initiatives as required
Requirements:
- 7 years of professional experience in the field of employer relations in higher education or work-integrated learning
- Significant experience in program management, marketing, strategic planning, public relations, and supervisory experience
- Demonstrated experience in leading mid-large projects or initiatives with multiple stakeholders
- Experience in event planning and program management
- Experience with report-writing, correspondence, and presentations
