Director - Part Time

Are you a seasoned professional with a passion for fostering impactful relationships between education and industry? We're seeking a Director - Part Time to lead our team in creating and executing dynamic strategies that elevate our industry relationships and amplify opportunities for students and graduates.
You'll be responsible for spearheading operations that enhance our industry partnerships and open doors for students to access top-tier employment, Co-op, and Work-Integrated Learning opportunities. Your exceptional networking capabilities and aptitude for making connections will be invaluable in building relationships with industry leaders and partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement strategies to enhance industry partnerships and Co-op job development efforts
- Lead a team of employer and industry relations business development activities, services, and supports
- Design modern, streamlined, and employer-relevant practices for student talent acquisition, student and employer engagement, and services for employers to partner with us for talent sourcing and recruitment
- Negotiate with industry associations or other industry umbrella groups to create contracts, partnerships, and agreements to partner with
- Serve on community committees, boards of directors, or trade organizations to advance our brand, employer awareness, and advocate for student employment/WIL
Requirements:
- 7 years of professional experience in employer relations in higher education or work-integrated learning
- Significant experience in program management, marketing, strategic planning, public relations, and supervisory experience
- Demonstrated experience in leading mid-large projects or initiatives with multiple stakeholders
- Experience in event planning and program management
- Experience with report-writing, correspondence, and presentations
