Job Title: Early Childhood Educator

IT TAKES A VILLAGE DAYCARE SOCIETY seeks an experienced and caring Early Childhood Educator to join our team. As an Early Childhood Educator, you will be responsible for the daily care and education of young children, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment that promotes their physical, emotional, and cognitive development.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and implement child-care programs that support the physical, cognitive, emotional, and social development of children.
  • Bathe, diaper, and feed infants and toddlers, ensuring their hygiene and nutrition needs are met.
  • Develop and maintain a positive and inclusive classroom environment that encourages children to express their creativity through art, music, and physical activity.
  • Establish and maintain collaborative relationships with co-workers and community service providers working with children.
  • Supervise and coordinate activities of other early childhood educators and assistants, ensuring a smooth and efficient childcare experience.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Early Childhood Education or a related field.
  • Emergency child care first aid and CPR certification.
  • Criminal record check, Child Abuse Registry check, and Vulnerable Sector check.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with children, parents, and colleagues.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a strong commitment to providing high-quality childcare services.
