Job Title: Early Childhood Educator

IT TAKES A VILLAGE DAYCARE SOCIETY is seeking a dedicated and passionate Early Childhood Educator to join our team. As a key member of our childcare team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and education to our young children.

Job Summary:

We are looking for a qualified and experienced Early Childhood Educator to work with children from birth to 12 years old. The successful candidate will have a strong background in early childhood education, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with our team.

Responsibilities:
  • Plan and implement engaging and educational programs for children
  • Develop and maintain positive relationships with children, families, and colleagues
  • Monitor and report on children's progress and development
  • Collaborate with other educators to plan and deliver programs
  • Maintain a safe and healthy environment for children
  • Participate in staff meetings and contribute to the development of our childcare programs
Requirements:
  • Diploma or degree in Early Childhood Education or a related field
  • 1-2 years of experience working with young children
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work collaboratively as part of a team
  • First Aid and CPR certification
