Key Responsibilities
  • Leadership and Team Management: Supervise and train kitchen staff, ensuring a smooth and efficient service.
  • Culinary Expertise: Assist in menu planning, food preparation, and presentation, maintaining the highest standards of quality and presentation.
  • Inventory and Supply Management: Requisition food and kitchen supplies, ensuring timely delivery and minimizing waste.
  • Equipment Maintenance: Arrange for equipment purchases and repairs, ensuring optimal kitchen performance.
  • Customer Service: Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances, ensuring a safe and enjoyable dining experience.
  • Staff Development: Recruit, train, and develop kitchen staff, promoting a positive and productive work environment.
Work Environment and Physical Demands

This role requires a high level of physical fitness, with prolonged standing and manual labor. You must be able to work under pressure, multitasking and prioritizing tasks to meet deadlines.

Requirements and Qualifications
  • Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.
  • Experience: 2 years to less than 3 years in a similar role.
  • Language: English.
  • Work Hours: 40 hours per week.
