About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Sous Chef to join our team at The LogHouse Pub. As a key member of our culinary team, you will be responsible for assisting the Executive Chef in the preparation and presentation of our menu items.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist the Executive Chef in menu planning and preparation
  • Supervise and train kitchen staff to ensure high-quality food preparation and presentation
  • Requisition food and kitchen supplies to maintain efficient kitchen operations
  • Inspect kitchen and food service areas to ensure cleanliness and safety standards are met
  • Collaborate with the Executive Chef to plan menus and ensure food meets quality standards
  • Prepare dishes for customers with food allergies or intolerances
  • Recruit and hire staff to support kitchen operations
Requirements
  • 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to multitask and work under pressure
  • Physical stamina to stand for extended periods
