Job Summary:

VIP Concierge Host

Live Nation Canada, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and resourceful VIP Concierge Host to join our team at HISTORY, a state-of-the-art venue in Toronto. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for creating a warm and inviting environment for our guests, understanding their needs, and recommending various spaces throughout the venue to enhance their experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the venue and its events to provide exceptional guest experiences.
  • Assist in the nightly sales and execution of VIP spaces, ensuring seamless operations and high guest satisfaction.
  • Lead and direct guests to various areas of the venue, providing a personalized and inclusive experience.
  • Assist with executing event day operations within premium spaces, including guestlist and registration, VIP experiences, handling vendors, talent, and meet-and-greets.
  • Utilize table management systems, such as SevenRooms, to efficiently manage guest experiences and communicate with internal stakeholders as needed.
  • Perform other job-related duties as required, including opening and closing tasks.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in a fast-paced hospitality environment, with a strong preference for those with VIP hospitality or concierge experience.
  • Experience using a reservation system, with familiarity with SevenRooms being a strong asset.
  • Strong attention to detail, customer service skills, and ability to work calmly and effectively under pressure.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team to juggle multiple prioritized tasks.
  • Must be able to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as required.

Physical Requirements/Work Environment:

Sits for extended periods at a computer station or work desk; stands and walks throughout the day; occasionally moves about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.; uses hands and fingers to operate computers and office equipment for up to 8 hours each day; lifts up to 10 pounds regularly; exposed to typical office environment conditions and noise levels.
