About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Finance Secretary to join our team at Peel Financial Inc. As a key member of our financial operations team, you will play a critical role in ensuring the smooth day-to-day functioning of our office.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate Office Operations

Assist in planning and organizing daily office activities, ensuring that all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Provide Administrative Support

Offer administrative support to the financial team, including preparing financial statements, reports, and other documents.

Manage Correspondence

Handle incoming and outgoing correspondence, including responding to emails and preparing letters and other documents.

Support Newcomers and Refugees

Assist newcomers and refugees with foreign credential recognition, providing them with the necessary support to integrate into the workforce.

Support Indigenous People

Provide cultural competency training and awareness training to all employees, creating a welcoming work environment for Indigenous workers.

Support Youths

Provide awareness training to employees to create a welcoming work environment for youth.

Operational Support

Assist in the operation of computerized inventory record keeping and re-ordering systems.

Requirements
  • Education

Secondary (high) school graduation certificate.

Experience

1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a related field.

Language

English.

Work Hours

34 hours per week.
