About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Project Manager to join our Satellite Systems team at Macdonald, Dettwiler And Associates Corporation. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for leading complex projects from initiation to delivery, ensuring timely and within-budget completion.

Key Responsibilities
  • Program Management: Develop and execute project plans, including resource allocation, risk management, and cost control.
  • Customer Relations: Build and maintain strong relationships with customers, ensuring their needs are met and expectations are exceeded.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and motivate a team of engineers and technicians, providing guidance and direction to ensure project success.
  • Technical Expertise: Possess a strong understanding of satellite systems, including design, development, and testing.
  • Communication: Effectively communicate project status, risks, and issues to stakeholders, including senior management and customers.
Requirements
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or a related field.
  • Experience: 3+ years of experience in program/project management, with a focus on satellite systems.
  • Skills: Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to negotiate and manage conflicts.
  • Security Clearance: Must obtain and hold security clearance at the reliability status level, and pass security assessment for the Controlled Goods Program (CGP) and ITAR.
