About the Role

Westburne is a leading provider of energy solutions, and we're seeking a skilled Business Development Manager to join our team. As a Business Development Manager (Power and MCC), you will be responsible for driving sales growth and expanding our presence in the power control market.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and Execute Sales Strategies: Create and implement annual business plans to drive sales growth and expand our market share.
  • Build and Maintain Customer Relationships: Foster strong relationships with internal and external customers, providing technical expertise and support to drive sales and customer satisfaction.
  • Manage Opportunity Funnel: Actively manage a pipeline of sales opportunities to achieve sales objectives and drive revenue growth.
  • Stay Up-to-Date with Industry Trends: Attend supplier partner training and stay current with industry developments to maintain a high level of product and application knowledge.
Requirements
  • Electrical/Electronic/Automation Technology Diploma or Degree: A recognized institution's diploma or degree in electrical/electronic/automation technology.
  • Minimum 2 Years of Experience: A minimum of 2 years of experience in automation or technical product sales/support.
  • Strong Technical Knowledge: A strong understanding of electrical circuits, industrial automation, and power control products, including variable frequency drives (VFD's), motor control centers (MCC's), and associated control peripherals.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively communicate technical information to customers and internal stakeholders.
