Human Resources Officer

We are seeking a highly skilled and organized Human Resources Officer to join our team at A&M Canadian Immigration Law Corporation.
Job Summary:The Human Resources Officer will be responsible for administering staff consultation and grievance procedures, identifying current and prospective staffing requirements, and providing information or services to employees.
Key Responsibilities:- Administer staff consultation and grievance procedures to ensure a fair and respectful work environment.
- Identify current and prospective staffing requirements to meet the needs of the organization.
- Provide information or services to employees, such as employee assistance and counseling, to support their well-being and productivity.
- Prepare and post notices and advertisements to attract top talent.
- Collect and screen applicants to ensure they meet the requirements of the position.
- Advise job applicants on employment requirements and terms and conditions of employment.
- Review candidate inventories to ensure the best fit for the organization.
- Contact potential applicants to arrange interviews and assess their qualifications.
- Recruit graduates of colleges, universities, and other educational institutions to fill vacant positions.
- Notify applicants of the results of the selection process and prepare job offers.
- Advise managers and employees on staffing policies and procedures to ensure compliance and best practices.
- Organize staff consultation and grievance procedures to resolve conflicts and improve communication.
- Negotiate settlements of appeals and disputes and coordinate the termination of employment process.
- Determine eligibility to entitlements and arrange staff training to enhance skills and knowledge.
- Supervise personnel clerks performing filing, typing, and record-keeping duties to ensure accuracy and efficiency.
- Recruit and hire staff to fill vacant positions and meet the needs of the organization.
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Experience in human resources, recruitment, or a related field is an asset.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively with employees, managers, and external partners.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines and attention to detail.
- Strong organizational and time management skills to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
- Ability to multitask and adapt to changing priorities and circumstances.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, as well as experience with HR software and systems.
- Ability to travel as required to attend meetings, training sessions, and other work-related events.
