Asahi International is seeking a highly skilled Payroll Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for the administration of our payroll and HR platforms, ensuring compliance with relevant laws and regulations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • End-to-end administration of our monthly payroll process, including collation and auditing of inputs for both UK and Ireland.
  • Reconciliation of payroll, benefits, and data.
  • Answering payroll queries from employees.
  • Adhering to payroll policies and procedures and complying with relevant law.
  • Identifying, investigating, and resolving discrepancies in payroll records.
  • Completing payroll reports for record-keeping purposes or managerial review.
  • Preparing and providing relevant data for internal and external audits.
Benefits Support:
  • Monthly pension scheme uploads and processing.
  • Supporting the Head of Operations on the design, communication, and management of various incentive schemes for employees.
  • Supporting the annual pay review and bonus review process and reports to support the budget process and annual reward ranges.
  • Managing employee benefits schemes, including support in annual renewal, monthly administration, and communication to colleagues.
  • Managing vendor relationships with third parties providing services across the HR function.
  • Preparing data for benchmarking companies on an annual basis.
  • Keeping the Compensation module within Hops up to date and managing the calendar yearly to ensure all key dates are met.
HR Scorecard:
  • Responsible for the HR Scorecard, ensuring all Headcount, Absence, and Talent numbers are up to date and accurate.
  • Tracking our headcount and turnover reports on a monthly basis and communicating any shifts in expected trends.
Requirements:
  • Extensive payroll experience, understanding of payroll practices, auditing, and processing.
  • Experience with HMRC reporting.
  • UK and International payroll experience essential.
  • Solid knowledge of payroll practice and laws.
  • Dayforce/Ceridian experience an advantage.
  • Desire to learn.
  • Self-starter, motivated to provide the highest possible level of responsiveness and performance as part of a small team.
  • Excel intermediate experience required as a minimum.
  • Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills.
  • The ability to work effectively with people in a high-growth, fast-paced environment and drive results.
  • A passion for customer service with contagious enthusiasm and energy.
  • Attention to detail and quality of work.
  • Good interpersonal skills and the ability to work as an effective team member.
  • Good organisational skills.
  • Excellent knowledge of Excel and Microsoft Office.
