Job Title: Site Reliability Engineer

Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Site Reliability Engineer to join our production services team. As a Site Reliability Engineer, you will be responsible for ensuring the reliability, efficiency, and automation of our production services.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Contribute to the execution of the SRE product vision, focusing on monitoring, alerting, self-healing, and reliability testing.
  2. Participate in functional and non-functional reviews of production-bound SRE solutions, ensuring performance, security, maintainability, compliance, and change management.
  3. Identify opportunities to automate existing processes and contribute to the transformation of our services.
  4. Collaborate with the team to execute the SRE roadmap and track, audit, monitor, and implement technical work streams.
  5. Support technology currency by automating opportunities for server patching, certificate renewal, compliance, and more.

Requirements:

  1. An engineer mindset with production-class delivery experience.
  2. Strong sense of ownership and drive.
  3. 3+ years of experience in production support, supporting multiple applications.
  4. 3+ years of experience in Linux and good knowledge of server/networking/storage infrastructure.
  5. 3+ years of experience in Kubernetes and Containers.
  6. Hands-on experience with DevOps CICD tools, such as GitHub, Jenkins, and Ansible.
  7. Familiarity with releasing and maintaining cloud solutions.
  8. Computer Science degree or equivalent.

Preferred Qualifications:

  1. Practical development experience.
  2. Hands-on experience with Agile methodologies, such as Scrum and Kanban.
  3. Experience with ElasticSearch and Kibana stack.
  4. Experience with Prometheus and Grafana stack.
  5. Experience with public cloud technologies, such as Azure and AWS.
  6. Experience building or supporting distributed applications.
