Job Title:

Youth Development Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and dedicated Youth Development Specialist to join our team at Rocky Mountain Behaviour Analysts Inc. This role requires strong interpersonal skills, excellent communication, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities:
  • Program Delivery
    • Develop and implement life skills workshops for clients
    • Assess client needs and develop service intervention logic models
    • Conduct follow-up assessments and maintain program statistics
    • Collaborate with other social services agencies to provide comprehensive support
    • Screen, recruit, and train volunteers and support staff
    • Accompany clients to appointments and social outings
    • Provide administrative and office support as required
    • Participate in evaluating the effectiveness of treatment programs
    • Assist in maintaining a safe and healthy work environment
    • Perform housekeeping and food preparation duties
    • Resolving conflicts and implementing behavior management programs
    • Liaise with healthcare providers to ensure comprehensive care
  • Work Environment:

    • Work under pressure to meet deadlines and deliver results

  • Requirements:
    • Education: College, CEGEP, or other non-university certificate or diploma
    • Experience: 1-2 years in a related field
    • Excellent oral and written communication skills
    • Interpersonal awareness and judgement

    • Ability to work in a team environment
    • Flexibility to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
