About the Role

The ideal candidate will have a passion for cooking and excellent leadership skills. You will be responsible for supervising kitchen staff and helpers, managing kitchen operations, and recruiting and hiring new staff members.

Responsibilities
  • Determine the size of food portions and costs
  • Plan menus and estimate food requirements for their realization
  • Prepare and cook complete meals or individual dishes and foods
  • Supervise kitchen staff and helpers

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a similar role
  • Excellent leadership and communication skills
  • Able to work well under pressure and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Familiarity with kitchen operations and food safety regulations
