Job Title: Transportation Operations Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Operations Supervisor to join our team at Shabad Transport Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our transportation services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure efficient transportation operations
  • Prepare and submit reports to management on transportation performance and trends
  • Ensure the maintenance and repair of computer equipment and machinery is up to date
  • Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
  • Train workers in duties and policies, and conduct performance reviews
  • Co-ordinate, assign, and review work to ensure deadlines are met
  • Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed
  • Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient operations
Requirements:
  • 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory role
  • Secondary (high) school graduation certificate
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Attention to detail and ability to multitask
Work Environment:
  • Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
  • Work under pressure to meet transportation schedules
  • Attention to detail required to ensure accurate reporting and record-keeping
Language:
  • English is the primary language of communication
Work Schedule:
  • 40 hours per week
