Transportation Operations Supervisor

We are seeking a highly skilled Transportation Operations Supervisor to join our team at Shabad Transport Inc. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation of our transportation services.
Key Responsibilities:- Co-ordinate activities with other work units or departments to ensure efficient transportation operations
- Prepare and submit reports to management on transportation performance and trends
- Ensure the maintenance and repair of computer equipment and machinery is carried out in a timely manner
- Resolve work problems, provide technical advice, and recommend measures to improve productivity and product quality
- Train workers in duties and policies, and conduct performance reviews to ensure high standards are maintained
- Co-ordinate, assign, and review work to ensure deadlines are met and quality standards are maintained
- Requisition or order materials, equipment, and supplies as needed
- Establish work schedules and procedures to ensure efficient use of resources
- 1 year to less than 2 years of experience in a supervisory role
- Permanent employment with 40 hours per week
- Language of work: English
- Fast-paced environment with tight deadlines
- Work under pressure with attention to detail
- Up to 9 kg (20 lbs) weight handling
- Steel-toed safety boots and cellular phone required
- Accurate, client-focused, flexible, and reliable
