Construction Estimator

Rafat General Contracting is seeking a skilled Construction Estimator to join our team. As a key member of our estimating department, you will be responsible for preparing detailed estimates for construction projects, ensuring accuracy and efficiency in your work.
Key Responsibilities:- Prepare detailed estimates for construction projects, including labor, materials, and equipment costs.
- Conduct site visits to gather information and assess project requirements.
- Develop and maintain relationships with suppliers and subcontractors.
- Collaborate with project managers to ensure estimates are accurate and meet project requirements.
- Stay up-to-date with industry developments and best practices in estimating.
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as surveying technology or civil engineering.
- 5+ years of experience in construction estimating, with a focus on quantity surveying and project cost management.
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Professional certifications, such as the Canadian Institute of Quantity Surveyors (CIQS) designation.
- Experience with estimating software and technology.
- Knowledge of building codes and regulations.
